This is a clean 1
family owned heavy duty 1984 Chevy "Silverado" 3/4 ton 4x4. The
family claims the miles to be actual 52k
Those of you who follow the site know how hard clean original survivor
square bodies are getting to find. We have to pay up for nice ones.
This one definitely fits that bill. It is
100% rustfree from California, and still has much of its original paint. The body
has a few minor dings, but is basically very straight. The bed is also straight for
it's age. It has probably had the bed mat since new so the bed
floor is nice and straight also. This is a fully loaded Silverado,
with a strong 350 engine, and nice shifting
automatic. It looks to have most every option offered in 1984: "cold" A/C, dual tanks,
PW, PDL, Tilt, Cruise, Limited Slip "Posi" rear, class III
tow hitch, etc. It also has the cool factory quad front shocks.
They really tame the front end down on old country roads.
The interior is original and still very nice. We
put a new headliner in it, and a dash carpet cover to spruce it up.
This is a clean no excuses truck in a
cool color combination.
This 4x4 is almost 100% stock. It even still has the working factory
radio, and the factory clock still works. Overall, its a nice original survivor, that can be enjoyed as
is, or an easy restoration.
Bottom line, they don't
get much better than this for an original survivor. I was excited to
track this one down. I trust you will like it as much as I do.
Enjoy the pictures!
