1986 Chevy "Silverado"  Rare 1 ton 4x4 "Frame on restoration"

This is a rare, unique, and very desirable 1 ton 4x4.  The 1 ton was the only way to get a 454, Dana 60 front axle, & the NP205 transfer case in a 4x4.  This is the Top-of-the-Line Silverado model.  This 1 ton is 100% rustfree from Washington state.  It was one family, non-smoker owned, with only 74,262 miles on it.   Everything on the truck is either new or very nice original condition.  The new black paint looks great on a straight body.  The inside of the bed and door jambs are still original paint.  I feel a nice "Rhino" liner would look nice but a true purist wouldn't want that so, I just left the bed original.  The 454 engine is strong and smooth.  It has had the addition of an Edelbrock intake and carb combo for added performance and ease of maintenance.  The wheels and tires are new and really make the truck.  The interior is totally original with the exception of a new headliner.  This an almost fully loaded Silverado.  Options include: TH400 automatic, tilt, cruise, 4:10 axles with a posi rear, tow package, A/C, Dual tanks, extra fluid coolers, skid plates, etc.  This truck looks to have most every option offered,  with the exception of PW and PDL.  It has a lengthy option list.

I could go on and on about this truck.  If it was all stock I would want $10k for it, and one couldn't get it into this condition for $4500.00.  It needs nothing to be enjoyed just the way it is.  I can't think of a better combination of solid black exterior with burgundy interior.  The pictures truly speak for themselves.  Enjoy!
