1998 Chevy 3/4 ton Suburban Silverado LT
Very clean unabused 1998 Chevy K2500 3/4 ton Suburban Silverado with the Top of the Line "LT" trim. I have been getting more requests for "OBS" Suburbans. My customers really like this next generation, especially the K2500 3/4 tons. They are still pretty basic as for as working on them goes, but in a lot of ways are the best Suburbans GM made. This is a nice, heavy duty example. It is only showing 208k miles. The body is very straight, and 100% rustfree from California. The paint is presentable but has had some touch ups. This is a fully loaded "Silverado LT" featuring the reliable fuel injected "Vortec" 350, nice shifting HD 4L80E overdrive automatic, front & rear A/C, ABS, PW, PDL, tilt, cruise, rear defroster, P Seats, Keyless Entry, nice sounding factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette stereo, class III trailer hitch, etc. It also has the preferred floor mount manual 4x4 shifter. it works every time unlike the push button 4x4, and a "posi" limited slip rear axle.
It has new 265/75/16 A/T tires on the factory rally wheels. Mechanically, the brakes are nice, the suspension is tight, and the exhaust is sound. It has very clean interior. It sits a total of 9 passengers with the 60/40 front seat, and 2 rear bench seats. This Suburban was one family owned, and comes with a folder full of maintenance receipts.
Overall this is an absolute no excuses, strong running, and driving heavy duty 4x4 Suburban, that is ready to be put into service. If you need to haul the family, and still be able to use it to do some work and tow, you cant beat a 3/4 ton Suburban. This one sure beats paying $80,000.00 for a new one. I wouldn't be afraid to hop in and drive it cross country.
