1983 Chevy K10 1/2 ton 4x4 Short bed
This is a beautiful 79,xxx mile 1983 short bed Chevy 4x4. It is a nice simple 4x4, with a 305 V8, overdrive automatic transmission, and a posi rear axle. It is a very original truck, but had had some nice upgrades. It is a 100% rustfree southern 4x4. The paint was getting thin in spots, but again the body had no rust or major body damage. We had a complete professional paint job done, including removing the bed to get the rear of the cab painted properly. It also got treated to new wheel arch moldings, body side molding, and a nice silver pinstripe.
It has new tires on the factory rally wheels. It also has new nice sounding Flow-master dual exhaust. Other than that the truck is almost totally original. Even the inside of the bed is almost like new. I chose to not have it painted since it was so perfect. I also left the door jambs clean and original.
The interior is still original, it does have an inexpensive stock fit radio, and an aftermarket intermittent wiper control. The seat, dash pad, and rubber floor mat are all original still. I even have all the original dealer documentation when sold new, including a copy of the window sticker, and order invoice. I was a owned by the original owner up until 10 months ago. I even have a notebook where the original owner logged the mileage at every fill up.
This truck is unbelievable, I went a little overboard on it compared to my norm, but it was so nice it disserved it.
She runs and drives like a low mile survivor should. If you want a beautiful looking, straight, rustfree simple short bed 4x4, this is truly it. This is a no excuses hop in and drive beauty. Enjoy the pics!
