This is a very
hard to find, and desirable 1987 Chevy V30 1 ton regular cab 4x4.
87 is the Holy Grail of these regular cab 4x4's. It was the only
year to get fuel injection in a regular cab square body GM truck. To
top it off this is the Top-of-the-Line Silverado. This west
coast 4x4 still has much of it's original paint, is 100% rustfree, and
pretty darn straight for being 30 years old. This is a well optioned
heavy duty 4x4 with only 126k miles. It has a smooth strong 454,
nice shifting TH400 automatic, A/C, tilt, cruise, dual tanks, etc. Of course it has all the bullet
proof heavy duty parts, Dana 60 front, 205 Transfercase, 14 bolt rear,
etc. It doesn't have is power windows, and power door locks.
They
tend to work slow on these old Chevy's anyway.
The interior is
pretty original. It does have a new AM/FM CD with remote control.
The original paint has some of that
typical delamination for the era.
This heavy duty
4x4 truly runs and drives unbelievable. It doesn't have a squeak,
shimmy or rattle. The tires are nice stock sized 265/75/16's.
The suspension is tight. The brakes stop nice, and the exhaust is
sound. This an awesome running and driving
rare 1 ton.
There just aren't many of these around anymore, and I get a lot of
requests for them. I would hop in and drive it anywhere.
These were the the last of the true "HD's" that GM offered. |
