Hard to find 1977 K20 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy. Premium "Cheyenne" trim,
& heavy duty "Camper Special" package. 99% rustfree from California.
This was a father son project, so everything was done properly so his son
would be safe. It has a newer crate 350 with roughly 30k, nice shifting automatic
that was rebuilt at the same time, PS, PDB, Dual Tanks, and working
"cold" factory A/C. The "Cheyenne" package got you the fancy trim and the
"Camper Special" package got you the 8400# GVW and all the heavy duty parts,
and extra coolers needed for towing. This is a pretty clean good
looking 4x4. It also has a professionally installed "Tuff Country" 4"
suspension lift kit, with longer shocks, brake lines, & raised pitman are.
This combination of all the correct lift parts make it drive real nice, with
not a rattle in it.
It has nice dual exhaust, and good brakes. Excellent no excuses
driver! It has nice 33x12.5x16.5 tires on nice chrome wheels.
I call this truck 99% rustfree because it has some rust in the front
bottom of the right front fender from the battery, some bubbles in the rear
of that same fender, some bubbles in the pass door corner, and some bubbles
in the drivers cab corner. The floors, bed sides, bed floor, rockers
are all totally rustfree. There are a couple of filler cracks also.
With that being said, it is still a proud, straight old 4x4, that hasn't
been a beat work truck. You won't find a better, running, and driving
77.
One neat feature about the 1977 models is that they painted the inside
of the body side trim yellow. All other years got black. So it
sort of makes it easy to spot a 77. |
