1978 Chevy 3/4
ton 4x4, with the Scottsdale package. This 4x4 is 99.9% RUSTFREE from California, and features
most of the original paint. This 4x4 has a nice mix of options.
It has a rebuilt 350 (with receipts), 4 speed, A/C, Tilt, Posi, 3.73
axles, dual tanks, AM/FM, power steering, and power disc brakes, etc.
This truck is just a nice clean driver, not perfect, but solid,
straight, and ready to go. This 4x4 also comes with the original
manuals, and the original build sheet. It was built in Freemont
CA, and has spent it's entire life in California. I personally
drove this truck 250 miles while in California. It will 70 MPH
down the highway all day long.
The truck is totally rustfree except
for a hole the size of a quarter in the bottom of the right front
fender, and a spot starting in the bottom of the same side cab corner.
The body must have gotten some debris up in there and plugged the drain
hole. Other than that there is no rust in the entire truck.
I am including close ups of the two rust spots, plus several other
underbody shots This
truck obviously runs nice with the new engine, but it also drives nice.
The clutch is also new. The brakes are nice. The suspension
is tight. The front shocks are new. The exhaust is sound.
As I said the truck is ready to hop in and go. I also included a
scan of the engine receipt. The work was done in August of 2006,
at a cost of over $3700.00 for the entire job. |
