Very rare
1978 Chevy 1 ton, crew-cab dually 4x4, with Top-of-the-line Silverado trim.
1978 maybe 77 was the first year for the 1 ton crew dually, then to find
a Silverado in on is unheard of. It also has the 10,000lb GVW
"Camper Special" package. This truck has had a lot of tastefull
upgrades. It has a newer GM crate 454, with a 4 speed. It
also has factory A/C, factory tach and gauges, tilt, dual tanks, int
wipers, etc. It has a 6 inch professional lift on it, with Alcoa
wheels and like new BFG's. It has a 8000lb warn winch, and a nice
sounding CD stereo system. The interior has been tastefully
redone, including, carpet, headliner, and seats.
This truck also has all the other HD equipment: Dana 60 front, NP205
Transfer case, 14 bolt rear, etc. These were the heaviest duty 4x4
pickups GM ever produced.
This 4x4
drives excellent. It rides real smooth, drives tight, and stops
perfect. It has nice sounding Flowmaster duals on it also.
The paint is old and dry. It does have a little rust starting to
bubble over the front wheels, but other than that it is a solid rustfree
California 4x4.
This is truly a one of a kind
truck.
Everything that has been done professionally, and is just how I would do
it.
When I drive the truck I get
compliments from everyone.
