1979 Chevy LUV 4x4
This is a unique, and
hard to find Chevy LUV 4x4. Sorry to all of you who have been
patiently waiting for the pics. As most of you know this was the
predecessor to the S-10 made by Isuzu for Chevy. This one is 100%
rustfree from sunny, dry central California. It still features its
original paint on all but the right front fender. Any rust that you
see in the pics is just surface rust from normal use. There is no
cancer type rot. The body has a few dents and dings from normal use.
The bed is very straight inside, and hasn't been sprung from overloading.
The 4 cylinder engine runs excellent, and the 4 speed manual trans shifts
nice. The clutch, brakes, exhaust, and suspension all feel fine.
The stock size tires are like new, and are mounted on factory steel slotted
wheels. She drives excellent. It also has rare factory A/C,
however it is missing the compressor, and receiver/dryer.
This is a cool little 4x4. The odometer is showing 39,441 so it is probably 139 but I can't be sure. The interior is still original, with the addition of a nice sounding AM/FM/CD player. The dash pad has some big splits in it. I ordered a carpeted dash cover, but it hasn't arrived yet. Overall this is a nice clean little economical, simple 4x4, that I would hop in and drive anywhere.
