Desirable and hard
to find, 1984 Chevy Crew Cab, 1 ton, single rear wheel 4x4. It is
the Top-of-the-Line Silverado model. This truck is claimed to have
89,000 miles. It has had two adult owners. This 1 ton is
from California. It is 100% rustfree, and still sports the
original paint. The body has a few slight dings, and chips, but is
very straight for an original 28 year old 4x4. It has had a bed
liner in it it's entire life. The bed floor and bed rails, are
perfect. The interior is also clean, but not perfect.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. It has a rebuilt 6.2 Diesel
engines (15k miles with receipts), a Turbo 400 A/T, NP205 Transfer Case,
Dana 60 front axle, working A/C (Converted to R134), new tires,
etc. It also has a class III receiver trailer hitch, electronic
brake controller, posi rear, and a nice sounding AM/FM/CD system.
One other note, the underside of the engine, trans, and TCase are as dry
as a bone, no leaks. This heavy duty 4x4 drives tight, and
straight. The brakes, shocks, and exhaust are excellent. I
have receipts for all major work done over the past few years ($8000).
The engine alone was over $5K. This truck gets 18 MPG on the
highway, if you drive the speed limit. The pictures speak for
themselves. This is a hard to find truck, in excellent condition,
that I would hop in and drive cross country, period. |
