This is a Rare, and Desirable 1987
Chevy Silverado Short Bed 4x4. What makes the 87's so rare, and
desirable is the fact that it is the only year that GM offered fuel
injection in this classics body style pickup. You get all the
convenience of a newer truck, in the classic older body.
This one is a fine example of an 87 SWB 4x4. It has a straight,
original paint body and is 100% rustfree from Arizona. You will
see some red clay residue underneath, some road rash chipping in the
lower body, as well as some normal chips, dings, and scrapes from being
27 years old, but no cancer. It features a strong fuel injected
newer "Goodwrench" 350, and a rare and desirable 4 speed manual.
It also has: A/C, PS, PDB, Tilt, duel fuel tanks, class III tow hitch,
etc. It also has the factory skid plates, and tow hooks.
Finally, it has Nice conservative 3.42 gear with a limited slip "posi"
rear differential. This is an excellent running and driving truck.
I have personally used the 4x4 system. The front suspension has
been totally rebuilt including the steering gear box. The brake
system is also completely new, including brake booster and master
cylinder. This truck belonged to a young lady and
her dad made sure it was safe and reliable for her. He just spent
$2500 on those two repairs alone. It has a mild lift, Rancho
shocks, and 33" tires which gives this truck a perfect look. It
also has a nice sounding FlowMaster exhaust. It has
decent 33x12.5x15 tires on nice alloy wheels. I would hop in and
drive this truck anywhere. I don't have to make any excuses for
it.
