This is a Rare, and Desirable
1987 Chevy Silverado Short Bed 4x4. What makes the 87's so rare, and
desirable is the fact that it is the only year that GM offered fuel
injection in this classics body style pickup. You get all the
convenience of a new truck, in the classic older body. This one is
a neat example of an 87 SWB 4x4. The clear coat is pealing but the
body is very straight body and is 100% rustfree from California.
It has also had the front grill updated to the 89 - 91 style. This
87 also features a new fuel injected 350, and a firm shifting rebuilt
700R4 overdrive automatic. It also has: A/C, PS, PDB, Tilt,
Cruise, PW, duel fuel tanks, class III tow hitch, etc. The
truck has a professional "Superlift" 6" lift, and it rides on 35"tires.
In my opinion this is the perfect look for these short beds. Even the inside of the bed,
and upper bed rails are straight. This is an excellent running and driving truck.
I have personally used the 4x4 system. The suspension is tight.
The brakes, and shocks are all good also. It also has a nice
a nice sounding FlowMaster muffler. I would hop in and
drive this truck anywhere. I don't have to make any excuses for
it.
