This is a hard to find and
desirable 1987 Chevy Silverado 1/2ton 4x4. What makes the 87's so rare, and
desirable is the fact that it is the only year that GM offered fuel
injection in this classics body style pickup. You get all the
drivability of a new truck, in the classic older body. This
one is hands down the nicest 87 4x4 I have ever had. It has a very straight body and is 100%
rustfree from Washington state. This truck is very original, and
was one family owned. They took excellent care of it and never
used it as a work truck.
It only has 94k actual miles on it. This Silverado
features a strong fuel injected 350, and a nice shifting overdrive
automatic. It also has: A/C, PS, PDB, Tilt, Cruise, PW, duel fuel
tanks, class III tow hitch, etc. It also has the factory
quad front shocks, and skid plates. It also still has the factory
premium stereo, but it doesn't turn on.
The interior is as close to perfect
as a truck with 94k can be. The seat has been covered since new,
the dash pad is perfect, and it has never been smoked in. The headliner
is new.
This truck has never been cut,
lifted, or off-roaded. It has had a topper on it since new, so the
upper bed rails, and the inside of the bed is as nice as they come.
The paint is mostly still original, the roof is quite faded, and the
boot that sealed the topper the the rear window wore the paint thin in
that area. This is an excellent running and driving truck. I
have personally used the 4x4 system. The suspension is tight.
The brakes, and shocks are all good also. It even still has
the original exhaust on it. It has new stock 235/75/15 tires
on rare factory 8" white spoke wheels. I would hop in and drive this truck
anywhere. I don't have to make any excuses for for this Silverado.
It even comes with the original owners manual.
They just don't get much nicer for an original type truck. |
