1989 Chevy 1 ton crew cab 4x4 Silverado |
|||||
These are desirable hard to find trucks. I'm getting over 10 call a week for GM crew cabs. I now just tell all who call to watch the website and first come first served. Yes I sold this one a couple years back and the guy never got to it. All he really did is store it for 2 years and watched it go up in value. It is a 1989 Chevy 1 ton crew cab dually 4x4. It is 100% rustfree from Arizona, and only shows 40k on the odometer so it is probably 140k miles. The body is very straight other than some damage to the tailgate (still works fine). The truck still features it's original paint on every panel. I has never had any body or paint work, just the way I like to get them. This one is a fully loaded Silverado model. These were the last of the true heavy duty 4x4's GM ever made. It has a strong fuel injected 454 engine, rebuilt TH400 automatic with a nice firm shift, A/C, PW, PDL, Tilt, Cruise, Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear, 205 TCase, dual tanks, etc. This truck hasn't been cut on or worked to death. It drives excellent. The brakes, exhaust, and suspension are all sound. It has a receiver style hitch with an electric trailer brake controller. I have personally used the 4x4 system and it works fine. I had it in 4x4 when I took the pics. The interior is also pretty clean and shows minimal wear for being 28 years old. The only thing that isn't basically stock on this truck is the addition of a gear vendors overdrive unit. http://www.gearvendors.com/4x4gm3s.html These units cost over $3000.00 If this is the one for you, don't drag your feet. I have people calling weekly for crew cab 1 ton 4x4's. |
