Rare find, 1972 Dodge "Power
Wagon" W200 3/4 ton 4x4 crew-cab short bed. These 4 door Power wagons are very sought after, but are hard
to find and usually rusty beat junk, even from out west. This one
features it's original paint on a 99% rust-free Nevada body. It
has a 360, torque flight 727 automatic, power steering, power brakes, factory A/C,
etc. It runs and drives. We totally rebuilt the brake
system, front to back. These trucks used good heavy duty parts,
featuring a Dana 44 front axle, divorced 205 transfercase, and Dana 60
rear.
We totally stripped the interior.
The floors had some rust spots. We replaced the passengers front
floor pan, and made custom patches for the other areas. I included pics of the
bare floor. Also, it was missing the "DODGE" hood letters. I
picked up a nice clean set on EBay, and have installed them.
Bottom
line these, as with all early crew-cabs have become all but
non-existent, and very sought after. This one has a nice survivor
patina. If a person had a rusty first gen Cummins, the parts bolt
right in. We did a Cummins swap for my Nephew on a 75 W200 and the
frame even had the correct holes for the motor mounts already. Add
a mild lift, and some 35" tires, with this sweet original patina body
and you would have an awesome piece!
