This is a hard to find and unique
1979 Dodge W150 Power Wagon. This is a short bed 4x4 It has
a very straight, original paint body. It is 99.9%
rustfree from Nevada. This was a two owner truck that originally sold
in California. It comes with the original window sticker, and the
original documents that came with it when new.
This truck has just the right
options. It has the cool quad headlight front end. It
has the rare 318 with a factory 4bbl, 727 A/T, PS, PDB, and Dual tanks. It
also has new stock sized 30x9.50x15 BFG's. The interior is
original and pretty clean for its age. We put a slip on seat
cover over the stock seat. The seat sits fine and the foam and springs
are good, just the vinyl is cracked from the desert heat. It has a
nice sounding AM/FM/CD radio, and the dealer installed tach still works.
The inside of the bed and
the upper bed rails are straight. The bed floor just has some surface
rust from use. I call it
99.9% rustfree because the drivers floor has some pin holes. The
wheels, grill guard, roll bar, and tach were all dealer installed when new.
Overall this truck is still very original. The body is still 100% the
original paint. Not a single panel has ever been repainted.
That is virtually impossible to find.
The 318 4 bbl was a very limited release
engine. This one runs like a watch. The trans shifts nice as
well. The truck drives great. The brakes and exhaust are also
sound. She needs nothing to be a nice original survivor driver. Enjoy
the pictures. Finally, I
included a VIN breakdown,
