Very hard to find 1972 Ford F250 factory "Highboy"
4x4. Most of the pre 73's have been beat to death. This truck is
a true survivor. It is one family owned, and only has 115,757 miles on
it. It also features the original paint, on a very straight body.
It has a 360, 4 speed, 4:10 axles with a limited slip rear-end, and
the heavy duty big hub front end. Those are factory Ford tie
down hooks on the bed. I call this 4x4 99.9% rustfree because it has a
couple of pin holes on the outer roof on the pass side. There is
nothing on the inside of the roof just the outside. Other than that
there is just surface type rust from normal use, and being an all 35 year
old classics 4x4. The dual exhaust is shot, but otherwise the truck
seems to run and drive just fine. The 4x4 system works just fine also.
Sorry for the personal
belongings of the seller being in the bed. As the pictures indicate
the bed rails and inside of the bed are very straight. Again, any rust
you se in the pictures other than the roof is just surface from chips, and
abrasion. I have only had a couple pre 73 4x4's, and this one is as
nice as they get for an all original Highboy.
