Ford neat hard to find F100 1/2 ton short bed 4x4. This is a clean 100% rustfree
original California survivor. This truck
only has 129k actual well cared for miles. It belonged to a fire
department in California. This is a nice simple 4x4. It has a strong
smooth 360, with a new complete valve job, a nice shifting 4
speed, with a smooth clutch, and power steering. It even
has the rare and I think cool factory radio delete. This truck has a
straight body with a nice original patina. The tires are like new
31x10.5x15's on newer factory Ford chrome wheels. The the truck has
other new items including: shocks, steering stabilizer, head liner, foam
door seals, slip on saddle blanket seat cover over a nice factory seat, one
into two FlowMaster with dual tailpipes, etc.
The truck had
some pinholes in the floors due to moisture getting under the rubber mat.
It now has new professionally installed factory fit floor pans. I
included top and bottom floor pics before and after. It also has a new
rubber mat on the floor.
This truck arrived with a salvage title due to the fact that
it belonged to a municipality in California. When the state or local municipality
sells a vehicle they due that to eliminate any chance of liability to come
back on them. I have had numerous government owned California vehicles
that are titled this way. It was fully inspected and had no
damage and now carries a rebuilt Alabama title.
Overall, this is neat, no excuses short
bed 4x4 that is still very original. This truck is a fun to drive
super clean classic 4x4. Everything works including all lights,
gauges, wipers, heat, defrost, turn signals, and even the horn.
This truck doesn't
need a thing, and is the perfect 4x4 to put a satin clear coat on and enjoy
it just as it is.
