1976 Ford F250 factory "Highboy"
4x4, with a nice rugged stance. This an unbelievable 100% RUSTFREE,
original paint survivor Highboy. This is probably the nicest original
paint Highboy I have had. there is even hardly any surface rust on the
floors or frame. It has only had 2 adult owners. It features the
premium Ranger trim, with a nice two tone paint scheme. It has a
strong rebuilt 390, and a rebuilt C6 automatic. It also has the big hub front
axle, the divorced NP 205 transfer case, power steering, the big HD power disc brakes,
etc. It has a couple of other neat dealer installed options, A/C, and
power windows. It also has the desirable factory bed side toolbox.
I has a nice sounding AM/FM CD radio also. It has 35x12.5x16.5 BFG's on nice alloy wheels. The brakes,
exhaust and suspension are all sound.
The body, and bed are very straight, and the original chocolate brown paint
even still looks nice for it's age. The bed floor, upper bed rails and
tailgate are the straightest I have had on a Highboy. It has has the
in-cab fuel tank removed, and a high capacity tank has been put in the stock
rear location. It has a class III hitch, and electronic trailer brake
controller.
The interior (seat and carpet) have been redone. I have driven this
4x4 a few times and get a ton of compliments. It runs, drives, and looks
excellent.
It is awesome just the way it is. It doesn't really need a thing to be
a nice driver. Enjoy the pictures.
