I sold this truck a few
months back to a sailor in the Navy. He just got emergency orders to
go back out on a nuclear sub. He asked me to sell the truck for him.
He loved it but didn't want to store it, and wasn't sure where he would be
stationed next. I had several callers after it sold the first time,
so here's your second chance. This is a one of a kind classic 4x4.
He spent almost $1000.00 on new 31x10.5 tires, and new batter/cables on it
after he bought it. They are on the truck now.
Unbelievably clean and
original 1977 F150 4x4 Short bed. It is as clean an original as I
have ever had. It only has 84,129 actual miles. The orange paint is
still the original paint applied by Ford in 1977, the body is very
straight, and it is 100% rustfree. Even the inside of the bed and upper
bed rails are perfect. The only damage on the body is a little ripple in
the right front fender. When I look down the body, I cant believe, it is
that straight for being all original and over 30 years old.
The truck runs and
drives beautiful. It has a 351 engine that runs smooth and strong.
The choke even still works. It also has: power steering, power disc
brakes, A/C, 4 speed, NP205 transfer case, 3.50 axles with a limited slip
rear, factory dual tanks, etc. It has nice sounding Flowmaster single
exhaust, tight suspension, and great brakes. It has an excellent sounding
Blaupunkt CD system with Infinity speakers. The interior is black
and very nice. The tires are brand new (pictures prior to new
31x10.5 tires).
It also has a new battery and cables since pictures taken. It has a professionally applied spray in bed lines, over a perfectly
straight bed floor.
Bottom line this is the
kind of truck that rarely exists anymore. I feel darn lucky to have found
it. If you want one of the cleanest SWB F150 4x4's left, and can
appreciate a true survivor, don't miss this one. I wont ever have a
nicer one, period.
