1977Ford F250 4x4 "Ranger" the last and the best of the "Highboy's"

This is a fine example of an early 1977 Ford F250 factory "Highboy" 4x4.  The early 77's still had the narrow frame, the factory lift, divorced transfer case, and the big Spicer front hubs.  1977 was the last year for the "Highboys".  This one has new paint on a rustfree west coast body.  It also has new carpet, door panels, and seat.  Mechanically it is excellent and drives great.  It has a rebuilt 400 with 40k on it.  It also has a nice shifting C6 automatic.  The 205 transfer case operates smoothly and the 4x4 system works perfect.  The suspension is tight, the disc brakes stop nice, and the dual exhaust sounds good.  It has a nice sounding AM/FM radio in the stock location.  The tires are stock size and getting thin on tread.   This truck drives excellent.

The bottom line, this is a nice clean unabused solid west coast Highboy.  It isn't a frame of restoration, but it looks nice, and needs nothing, as it sets, but new tires would be nice.  I don't get many that are done hop in and drive ones like this.  The "Highboys" are the hottest trucks out there right now.  She wont last long.
