1977 Ford F250 4x4. This is
probably the nicest driving and strongest running truck I have had in a
while. The truck is rustfree from central California. The less
than stellar original 351 modified was replaced with a professionally
rebuilt 460. They even balanced the engine when rebuilt. The
engine runs smooth but is unbelievably strong. The 460 swap is
very common in these trucks and is a direct bolt in. This 4x4 also has
the desirable 4 speed with a new clutch. It is fun to drive a nice
tight strong old 4x4. The body is rustfree, but the paint is old and
dry, with dings scrapes and chips. The inside of the bed has surface
rust from use, but no cancer. This truck has factory A/C, power
steering, the big 4 piston disc brakes, and dual fuel tanks. It has
4.10 axles and a posi rear. The 4x4 system works perfect. It has
nice stock size tires. It also has 1 ton over load springs on the
rear. The interior is nice and uncut. The seat has some splits
but still sits nice and firm. It has a nice sounding CD system, etc.
You will see spots of surface rust where there have been nicks and chips,
but its just that surface rust no rot at all. The white paint just
makes the spots stand out
Mechanically this truck is excellent, with fresh
paint, and few other details, it would be awesome. Or drive it as is
and just have a nice old ford 4x4. I have driven this truck a lot, and
absolutely love driving it.
