This is a fine
example of a 1978 Ford F250 factory 4x4 original Survivor. It only has
110,670 original miles. This truck features all of its original Ford Medium
blue metallic paint on a 99.9% rustfree body from Washington state. The
body is very straight for a 33 year old original truck. The truck has rust
in the bottom of the drivers side door. a lot of these truck have rust in
the bottom of the doors. The drain holes get plugged. The pass door has a
little bit but not bad. Other than the doors, she is a beautiful rustfree
survivor.
This truck is a nice driver. It has some neat options. First and foremost
is the fancy exterior trim, with the factory Ford tie down hooks. It also
has the factory bedside toolbox. It even still has a working factory AM/FM
radio in it. It has a 351, and a nice shifting 4 speed. The 4 speed trucks
are preferred, but harder to find. It has Power Steering, Power Disc
Brakes, duel fuel tanks, etc. It has 3.54 axles front and rear, with a 205
transfer case. The truck has like new stock size tires. The disc brakes
stop straight, and smooth, the suspension is tight, and the exhaust is
sound. This truck has the heavy 8100# GVW rating with front and rear anti
sway bars.
The interior and
inside of the bed are nice also.
You can Hop in pump
the gas peddle a couple times, the choke sets, and she fires right up. The
engine does seem to go from running smooth to idling rough some times. I am
not sue what is up there.
