1979 F150 4x4 Short bed "Explorer" package
1979 F150 4x4 Short Bed, with the unique "Explorer" trim package. The Explorer package gave you a lot of the fancy options without the fancy trim. This 4x4 is as dry and rustfree as they come. It is 100% RUSTFREE from California. It has been repainted the original color once. The paint is old and starting to show it age. This 4x4 has never been cut or lifted (rare for a short bed). This short bed is fully loaded: 400, C6 auto, PS, PDB, quad front shocks, working A/C, working Cruise, Tilt, factory AM/FM stereo, etc. This truck is a nice little driver. It does have play in the tilt mechanism, from using the steering column to pull ones self in (Common on 4x4's with tilt). The automatic transmission is sluggish when first started, but works fine after a minute or two. It has new high flow exhaust. It also has completely new front disc brakes: rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder, and even lines. This is as nice a short bed as I have had. It is a clean 4x4, that you can hop in and drive.
