1979 F150
4x4 Short Bed, with the rare "Explorer" trim package. The Explorer
package gave you a lot of the fancy options without the fancy trim.
This short bed 4x4 is a true survivor, featuring all of it's original paint
and graphics on a 100% RUSTFREE body from Arizona. It has some dents,
dings, chips and scratches, but hasn't been a beat work truck. This 4x4 has never been cut
or lifted (rare for a short bed). The interior is in original uncut
condition, but showing its age. This short bed is well optioned: 400
engine, 4 speed, PS, PDB, quad front shocks, locking hood, A/C, etc. This truck
runs smooth and strong, the 4 speed shifts nice, and the clutch is smooth.
The brakes stop nice and the suspension is tight. It does need a new
tailpipe, or a nice set of duals. It has nice 31x10.5x15 BFG's with
80%+ tread. It also has a nice Zebart spray in bed liner.
Overall the truck is an excellent no excuses driver.
