Very clean and original 1979 Ford SWB 4x4. This is a
just the kind of 4x4 I love to find. It has been one family owned,
with only 136k actual miles. It has 100% original paint on a 100%
rustfree California body. I get excited about a nice well worn
original patina. The body has a few dings and scrapes, but I prefer to
call that "character", but overall the body is straight. Even the
inside of the bed just has normal wear, but isn't all beat up like most.
The bottom line this truck has been well cared for, and runs and drives
perfect. This truck was built in San Jose, CA, and
has spent it's entire life in sunny dry California. It has the fancy
Ranger trim, with a strong 351, nice shifting 4 speed, power steering, power
disc brakes, factory locking hood, and factory tie down hooks. It has
conservative 3.50 axles with a limited slip rear, Dana 44 front, and the
bullet proof NP205 transfer case. It also has factory quad front
shocks. The tires are nice 31x10.5x15 BFG's. The exhaust is
sound, the brakes are nice, and the suspension is tight. All the
lights work, and the heat will blow you out.
The interior is
nice also. I has new carpet, and a nice sounding CD system.
Other than that it is all original and clean.
I love a truck
with this look and wouldn't do a thing to it. It is an absolute
pleasure to drive, and doesn't need a thing.
