1985Ford F250 4x4 "Explorer" trim
I have been having more and more requests for 80's vintage Fords, and they have been selling well. 1985 Ford F250 4x4 with the fancy Explorer trim. This 4x4 is very clean, and rustfree, and has a very straight original paint body from Oregon. It has only has only been one family owned, and is only showing 36,785 miles. It's hard to believe it could be original, but the seat, rubber mat, and pedals sure don't look like 136k. Not to mention how straight the body is. This truck has never been lifted or off-roaded. It runs runs and drives excellent. It features a strong rebuilt 460 with an Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, and high output ignition system. It has a smooth shifting 4 speed with a new clutch installed at the same time as the engine. Other options include: cold working AC, tilt, cruise, power windows, power door locks, factory tach, dual fuel tanks, etc. It has conservative 3.54 axles, with manual locking front hubs. It has a nice sounding original AM/FM cassette stereo also. The bed inside is straight, as are the upper bed rails. In no way has this been a work truck. It has a class III hitch also.
The brakes, suspension, and exhaust all are sound. The 4x4 system works properly.
This is a very nice excuses hop in and drive heavy duty 4x4. You won't be disappointed. I would hop in and drive it anyplace.
