As the 70's Fords have dried up fast and
gotten very expensive, we have begun transitioning into more 80's and 90's
Ford trucks. They are better tucks in some regards. This
one is a 1987 Ford F250 4x4 with the basic "Custom" trim. 87
was the first year of the Brick Nose era trucks that ran from through 91. This
4x4 features is 100% rustfree body from California. It has some battle
scares and signs of use, but not a beat work truck. It is only
showing 00,212k miles on the odometer, so it looks like it has just turned
over.
This truck has never been lifted or off-roaded.
It a nice honest driver. It features a strong smooth 460. It
has a smooth shifting 4 speed. The clutch
is a little touchy. Other options include: AC, cruise, tilt,
intermittent wipers, factory
tach, dual fuel tanks, but only has the rear main tank, etc. It has conservative 3.55 axles, with
manual locking front hubs.
The
interior is clean and original.
It has a nice sounding AM/FM/CD stereo. We installed a new
windshield and headliner.
It has
a class III hitch also.
The brakes, suspension, and exhaust all
are sound. The 4x4 system works properly.
This is a good honest well optioned
heavy duty 4x4 at a good price.
