I have been having more and more
requests for newer Fords, and they have been selling well. Plus I'm
struggling to find decent 79 and older Fords. This one is
a
1991 F250 SuperCab, with
Top-of-the-Line Lariat trim. These are desirable hard to find heavy
duty trucks.
This one
runs and drives great. It only has 153k miles on it. The body
has some battle scares and 99.9% rustfree from California.
It is fully
loaded and features a strong fuel injected 460, nice shifting overdrive
automatic, A/C, PW, PDL, Tilt, Cruise, Dana 55 front, limited slip "Posi"
Sterling rear with desirable 4.10 gears, dual tanks, etc. This truck
hasn't been cut on, off roaded, or worked to death. It has clean
interior. It drives excellent, and the brakes, exhaust, and suspension
are all sound. I have personally used the 4x4 system and it works
fine. It also has like new stock sized tires.
I call this truck 99.9% rustfree
because it has just one spot on the drivers side cab corner. The truck
is from central California, which is one of the driest areas in the country.
Who knows what caused it, but it is just in the outer layer of metal.
It has a very straight bed, both inside, and the upper, and front bed rails.
It also has a class III receiver style hitch, and the rail for a goose neck
hitch.
Also, this is
the heavy duty model with the big Dana 55 front axle, and the beefy
Sterling rear. However, it rides smooth. I truly love driving
this truck. I would put a load behind it and drive it anywhere
period.
Bottom line, these dependable,
rugged, and relatively easy to work on heavy duty trucks.
New costs over $50k. This truck has a lot of life left in it. |
