1991 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 short bed.
This is only our second square body Ford Ranger, and the first sold quick.
This one is a clean simple low mile original survivor. It has a smooth
running 2.3, 4 cylinder engine, backed by a nice shifting 5 speed manual
with overdrive. The clutch feels nice as well. It is hard to
find decent early Rangers, most are beat up junk. This one is an XLT
model. It has just what it needs, 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual,
A/C, Power Steering, and Power Disc Brakes. It was one family owned,
and only has 111k miles. It features it's original paint, on a pretty
straight, 100% rustfree body from California body.
It has the preferred simple manual 4x4 system. It runs great at lower
RPM's but looses power at higher RPM's. I'm not much of a 4 cylinder
expert.
The tires are
nice 30.5/9.50//15's that are on nice factory alloys with new center caps.
The brakes, suspension and exhaust are all sound.
The interior is
very clean. It has a nice sounding Alpine AM/FM/CD radio. We
installed a new headliner. The carpet is nice, and we put a dash
carpet on the dash.
The inside of
the bed, upper rails, and front rail are straight. As mentioned the
paint, is still original with some of the clear coat baking off. The body has a few
small dents, but is straight overall.
This is as nice
an original survivor Ranger as your going to find for this kind of money.
