I have been getting more and more
requests for early diesels. I have a nice heavy duty 1993 Ford F250 4x4 regular cab.
It has the naturally aspirated 7.3 IDI diesel. It features the fancy "XLT"
trim package and
heavy duty "Off Road" suspension package. This 4x4 is clean
for it's age, and is only showing 151k miles. It
still has it's original paint on a pretty straight 100% rustfree body from
Washington state. This truck drives tight and smooth, run good, and shifts good.
I have never had one of these early for 7.3 diesels. It sounds, feels,
and smells like a diesel.
This truck has
heavy duty parts, including the bigger axle Dana 50 front axle, and a
Sterling limited slip rear. Other options include: A/C, factory tach,
PW, PDL, PS, PDB, tilt, cruise, dual tanks, skid plates on the fuel tanks
and transfercase, etc. This truck also has 4:10 gears in it, with a
limited slip rear axle.
It has a pretty clean interior with some
staining in the carpet. It has a nice
sounding CD stereo.
It has new
265/75/16 tires on alloy wheels. It also has new Motorcraft glow
plugs. As mentioned the body is pretty straight, but it does have it's
share of road rash, nicks and scratches,
As I said, I have been getting a
lot of requests for early diesel 4x4's. Plus these OBS Fords are
really getting popular. I just don't see these early diesels very
often, so if you have been watching for one, don't hesitate.
