1986 GMC K35 1 ton
crew cab dually 4x4. This is the Top-of-the-Line "Sierra Classic"
model. It is a 100% rustfree western survivor, that still features
most of it's original paint. Being a Sierra Classic it is fully
loaded, including: a strong 454 with an Edelbrock carb, and intake combo, TH400 Automatic, full power, tilt, dual tanks, A/C, etc.
These were the toughest pickups GM ever produced. They have the Dana
60 front, bullet proof gear driven 205 transfercase, and the rock solid Dana rear axle.
The truck is a nice turn key
driver. Being mostly original, it isn't perfect. The body has a few
dings, chips, scratches etc, but she's pretty clean for being 30 years old.
Both lower rear doors have some surface rust on the inside where the factory
seem sealer has come out, but again, its only surface.
The interior is original, and the
seats are needing to be recovered, but it is clean inside. The
suspension is tight. It had dual exhaust, but the mufflers are getting
loud. The 4x4 system works fine. The tires are stock sized and
have good tread. I'd hop in and drive her anyplace.
Bottom line these trucks are
getting tough for me to find, but are still very sought after.
