This is a clean 1
owner heavy duty 3/4 ton 4x4. It is 99.9% rustfree from Nevada.
It hasn't been smoked in, so the interior is still nice and bright.
The body is the straightest I have ever had in one of these vintage trucks.
The odometer only has 52,968 showing. The title is exempt on the miles
due to the trucks age, but all indications are it could be original, but I
can't prove it. Even the exhaust is still original and nice and
sound. The original cloth seat, under the cover, has some
splits in the cloth due to getting dry from the desert sun, but is sits nice
and firm. The old timer never used this
as a work truck. I have driven this truck quite a bit,
and it drives beautiful and tight. The stock size 235/85/16 tires on
factory wheels are like new. She also gets a ton of compliments. It
is a well optioned "Sierra Classics" model. It has a strong smooth
350, a rare and desirable 4 speed manual, A/C, Dual tanks, conservative 3.73
axles, tilt, class III tow hitch, etc. It also has the heavy
duty suspension, with skid plates, tow hooks, and factory manual locking front
hubs. This is an absolute no excuses truck. This is the cleanest
80's Chevy I have had. It is very stock, and original. It even still has the factory radio
that works. It has nice
sounding factory dual exhaust on it also. For some reason just behind
the passengers rear wheel it has a rust spot (see pics). It is only in
the outer layer of metal. From the back side there is no rust. I
suspect it got a chip in the paint there early in life and it just got
ignored. Other than that one spot it is 100% rustfree. This is an excellent running and driving truck that I would
hop in and drive anyplace period. I can't say much more about it.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves. |
