1991 GMC V2500 3/4 ton Suburban,
with the top-of-the-line SLE trim. 1991 was the last and most
refined year of this classics square body style. This one is an
excellent example, featuring a straight, never cut or lifted, 100%
rustfree body from California. 91 was the only year of this
classics style to get an overdrive in a 3/4 ton. This is a
fully loaded Suburban. It has a fuel injected 350, HD 4L80E overdrive automatic,
that was rebuilt less than a year ago, cold F & R A/C, PW, PDL, tilt, cruise, rear defroster, power mirrors.
This one also has the bench front seat, and two rear bench seats, which
yields 9 passenger seating capability. It also has the factory
towing package which features a class III trailer hitch, extra coolers,
skid plates, tow hooks, and heavier suspension and brakes. It has
an electronic trailer brake controller also. Finally it has
conservatives 3:73 axles. With the overdrive and the 3.73
axles, this Suburban with get close to 20 MPG on the highway.
Also, this Suburban has had numerous maintenance items in the past year:
complete brakes front and rear, alternator, A/C compressor, and recharge
with 134A, etc.
Another neat feature of this
Suburban is a sturdy very usable roof rack. It also features a
complete custom audio / video system with back up camera, 15" DVD
monitor, and 6 disc CD changer. This entire system was over $2000
installed. It has keyless entry also.
The
brakes are nice, the suspension is tight, and the exhaust is sound.
The interior is clean and showing minimal wear for it's age. The
carpet is nice, but showing some light soiling. It has a
nice original white repaint over a straight, 100% rustfree California
body. It has decent 265/75/16 tires on alloy wheels. Overall this is a nice running,
great looking, and driving heavy duty 4x4 Suburban, that is ready to be put
into service. This one sure beats paying $60,000.00 for a
new one. |
