Alright you van enthusiasts. You
have been hounding us to find you guys some cool vans. Lets see if
this on fits the bill. It is a 1979 Chevy Van G20 with the fancy
Beauville trim. It is the desirable short model with no side windows.
A true blank canvas. It features its original paint, on a
very straight, 99% rustfree California body. It was one family owned
when I acquired it from California. It has just the right
options, good running 350, nice shifting TH350 automatic, AC, PS, PDB,
Tilt Wheel, etc. The
interior is basic but clean. We took out the front carpet, and
recovered the headliner. I included pictures of the only rust.
It has 3 areas and I included pictures. The lower left front fender
due to the battery location, the lower dog leg behind the sliding door, and
some flaking on the lower part of the sliding door. The floors, and
everything else is totally rust-free.
It only has 27,948 showing on the
odometer, so its probably 127k miles. None the less, she runs, and drives
excellent. The brakes stop straight and smooth. It is hard to
criticize much about this van
Enjoy the pics. |
