Hard to find
and very desirable 1972 K5 Blazer 4x4. Full convertible top. It is
99% Rustfree and
has spent it's
entire life out west. These first generation K5 Blazers are one of
the most popular vehicles right now. They are very hard to find,
and highly sought after. 1972 was the last and best year for first gen.
Blazers. I haven't had one in over five years. The problem
is there aren't many left, and the ones that are are either junk or high
dollar, and to top it off they are more desirable, and worth more in California
than back here.
I feel darn lucky to have found this one.
I call this
Blazer 99% rustfree and it is really more solid than that. The
only rust is in the front floor / kick panel area period. This
area is typical from wet feet keeping the carpet padding wet or common
windshield leaks. Other than that there is no cancerous rust any
place period. It was sort of dark a wet outside the day I took the
pics, but the support boxes underneath are rustfree, the rear area is
rustfree, the entire exterior is rust free, etc.
This K5 is well
optioned. Options include: matching #'s original 350, TH350 automatic,
A/C, PS, PDB, buckets/console, tinted glass, fully removable top, etc.
Plus it is a desirable color combination. This Blazer is complete
and runs and drives, and has a clean virgin survivor look. The
bottom line, these early K5's are the hottest 4x4 out there right now,
and it id virtually impossible to find on that is still original and
hasn't been all cut up or lifted. This is truly the type of
vehicle that if you have been waiting for me to get one, you better act,
who knows when or if I will get another.
Finally, the
right front fender is dented, and the inner fender under that battery
box has some rust from battery acid, so I am including rustfree OE GM
parts to replace those. |
