This is a one owner
1977 Chevy K20 3/4 ton 4x4 with "Scottsdale" trim, and the heavy
duty 8400# "Camper Special" package. This is a clean, unabused 99%
rustfree Arizona survivor. It features the original black paint, and the body is pretty
straight. This truck is almost 40 years old and wears its minor
battle scares proudly. Even the inside of the bed is pretty straight.
The bed floor has surface rust from use but no rot or soft spots. This 4x4 has never been cut, lifted, of off roaded.
It only has 129k actual miles. It has a strong, smooth 454, with an
automatic transmission. This 4x4 is well optioned, with power
steering, power disc brakes, A/C, dual fuel tanks, etc. It also has
the rare factory tachometer. The brakes, suspension, and dual exhaust
are all sound. It has nice stock sized tires on the factory wheels,
with the stock hub caps. They just don't get much more original
than this. This truck drives great with no squeaks or rattles.
I call it 99% rustfree because it has some rust in the bottom front of the
right front fender, and some bubbles in a couple other spots. It is
hard to find much to fault with this clean original survivor Chevy 4x4.
A unique feature about the 1977 models is that they painted the inside of
the trim yellow. All other years got black. So it sort of makes
it easy to spot a 77. Enjoy the pics. |
