Hard to find and
desirable 1979 Chevy K10 short-bed 4x4. As you all know, it is getting
tough for me to find good old original survivor Square Body's anymore.
I was excited to find this one. This is a well optioned
Top-of-the-Line "Silverado" model. It is 99.9% rust-free from
California, and even still sports it's original paint on all but the hood.
It features a mild but nice looking 3" lift with 32/11.5/15 tires of factory
rally wheels.
We have put a lot of time any money
into this gem. It has a rebuilt 350 engine, and a rebuilt TH350
transmission. We did new interior, including carpet, seat cover, head
liner, door panels, arm rests, etc. What isn't new, is our best from
our hoard of nice used parts. It also has a new part time kit in the
transfercase, and new Warn locking front hubs. Other options include:
A/C (not working), Factory Tach, PS, PDB, Dual Tanks, factory AM/FM with new
speakers, etc. It also has nice dual exhaust with FlowMaster style
Thrush mufflers. This
is a neat classic 4x4, that is fun to drive, it has good brakes with a new
master cylinder, tight suspension, and sound
exhaust.
Original survivors,
don't get much nicer than this for the price. Enjoy the pictures. |
