Desirable and hard
to find, 1982 Chevy Crew Cab, 1 ton, single rear wheel 4x4. These
are my most requested trucks. I have started to tell all who call
to keep watch on the web site. First come first served. This truck isn't
the nicest I have had, but I just can't find them anymore.
This one isn't bad. I features most of it's original paint, is
pretty straight and 99% Rustfree from the west coast. It is
actually one of the nicer running and driving ones that I have had.
The yellow paint highlights every nick, chip or scratch. The lower
body has road rash, but no rust through. Some of the body seems in
the door jambs, door thresholds have surface rust. The lower
inside of both pass side doors have rust trough from the drain hold
getting plugged up. I have a complete set of 4 rustfree doors that
will come with it, if the buyer wants them. The bed floor and bed rails, are
even in pretty good shape.
The interior is
intact, but not perfect. Mechanically this truck is excellent.
It has a rebuilt 454
engines (20k miles), a 4 speed with a new clutch at the same time the
engine was installed, NP205 Transfer Case,
Dana 60 front axle, decent tires,
etc. It also has tilt wheel, intermittent wipers, and a class III receiver trailer hitch, . This heavy duty 4x4 drives tight, and
straight. The brakes, suspension, and exhaust are tight. I would hop in
put a load on it and drive cross country with this truck. |
