This is a nice example of a 1986 SWB 4x4. It has a straight body and is 100%
rustfree from the west coast. It features Top-of-the-Line
Silverado trim. It has a 305 V8, with an Edlebrock carburetor.
It has a nice shifting overdrive automatic. It also has: A/C, PS,
PDB, Tilt, Cruise, PW, duel fuel tanks, class III tow hitch, etc.
It also has the factory skid plates. Finally, it has a nice
sounding Pioneer AM/FM/CD sound system. This truck has
never been cut, lifted, or off-roaded. Even the inside of the bed
is straight. This is an excellent running and driving truck.
some time when I start it it will puff a little smoke, she probably
needs valve seals. As far as I know the engine is all stock still. I have personally used the 4x4 system.
The finicky automatic lock 4x4 hubs have been replaces by Warn manual
hubs. The suspension is tight.
The brakes, and shocks are all good also. It has decent 31x10.5x15
tires on nice 8" alloy wheels. The factory seat has some
damage to the cloth but the seat itself sits fine, and isn't bad for an
original 27 year old survivor. I would hop in and
drive this truck anywhere. I don't have to make any excuses for
it.
