1986 Chevy "Silverado" Rare 1 ton 4x4 |
|||||
Sorry for the delay in the pictures. I only like to take my pics on sunny days. Needless to say we have had very few of those this winter here in Indiana. This is a rare, unique, and very desirable 1 ton 4x4. The 1 ton was the only way to get a 454, Dana 60 front axle, & the NP205 transfer case in a 4x4. This 1 ton features a straight, 100% rustfree body from Bakersfield CA. The frame and floors, still have the original black GM paint on them. This 4x4 has been one family owned, and only has 68,317 miles on it. This is a fully loaded Silverado, with a strong factory 454, and a 4 speed. Other options include: PW, PDL, Tilt, 4:10 axles with a posi rear, tow package, A/C, Dual tanks, extra fluid coolers, skid plates, etc. This truck looks to have every option offered, and has a lengthy option list. It also has a few nice upgrades. First and foremost it has an electronically operated $4000.00 "Gear Vendors" http://www.gearvendors.com overdrive unit. It also has a slide in fifth wheel and goose neck 10,000 lb tow system. It has a nice looking set of alloy wheels, and finally a AM/FM/CD, sound system. This a neat rare 4x4. There just aren't many of these around. These were the the last of the true "HD's" that GM offered. This truck has a cheap older repaint. The original combination was blue/white. Other than the paint this is a no excuses truck. On a side note the previous owner claimed 17MPH towing a fifth wheel trailer on flat ground. The overdrive is exactly what GM should have done. |
