1987 Chevy V30 Regular cab 1 ton 4x4. These are
very sought after and hard to find, because they were a 1 year only model.
1987 was the only year to get fuel injection in this classics body style in
a regular cab. This body remained with the crew cabs, Suburbans, and
K5 Blazers through 91. This one is 100% rustfree from California.
Even the frame and floors are still the factory black primer.
This heavy duty 4x4, has just the right equipment:
strong fuel injected 454, nice shifting TH400 automatic, NP 205
transfercase, Dana 60 Front axle, limited slip GM corporate 14 bolt rear,
A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, and dual fuel tanks. It also
has a nice sounding CD system and a class III receiver style hitch.
This
truck is pretty straight for an 87 1 ton. The paint looks good, but
isn't a show job. At some point it had a goose neck hitch in the
bed. It has since been removed, and a plate has been welded over the
opening.
Bottom line this is a strong tight driving 4x4 that I would hop in and
drive any place with. These were the true "HD's", and are the most
heavy duty truck GM ever built for public use. |
