1991 Chevy
Suburban V2500 3/4 ton 4x4. This is the last and the best of the classic straight
axle Suburbans, and the only year to get the HD 4L80E overdrive
automatic. With this combination of a fuel injected 350 and the
overdrive you can expect 17+ mpg on the highway. This Suburban is 100% rustfree from
California. It is a fully loaded, Top-of-the-Line Silverado model.
It looks to have most every option available. It has a strong fuel
injected 350, a rebuilt HD 4L80E overdrive automatic, working
cold front and rear A/C, Cruise, Tilt, PW, PDL,
Bucket Seats, rear wheel anti-lock brakes, power mirrors, Class III
hitch with electronic brake controller, quad Front Shocks, Skid plates, Front tow hooks, etc.
The suspension is tight, and the Suburban sits up nice and proud on nice
275/85/16 tires. It has 4.10 gears which are perfect with the tall
tires and the overdrive trans. She has 182K miles witch
isn't bad for a vehicle that is over 25 years old. It runs and
drive like it has 50k on it. Plus in California they have nice
roads and no cold starts. That is what does the most damage to our
vehicles back east.
Mechanically
this Suburban needs nothing. As mentioned the suspension is tight.
The disc brakes stop true, and the exhaust is sound
The interior is
clean only showing normal wear, and soiling. It has 3rd row
seating and the overhead console.
Bottom-Line,
she has a nice straight body and is 100% rustfree.
Overall, this is a nice clean no excuses heavy duty, fully loaded Suburban
that has a nice muscular look. I wouldn't be afraid to
hop in and drive it cross country. |
