1974 Ford F250 factory "Highboy" 4x4.
This is a straight 99.9% rustfree Highboy from the west coast. It has a strong
older rebuilt 390
4 bbl, with a nice shifting C6 automatic. This truck is still very
original, and even still features much of it's original two tone blue paint.
I call it 99.9% rustfree, because the bed floor has some pin holes in it,
but is still good and solid. There is also one spot on the lower back
corner of the bed. The rest of the truck is totally rustfree other
than some surface rust. It also has power steering, and power brakes.
It has the big heavy duty desert cooler radiator, and factory overload
springs on the rear. The driveline features the big hub 4.10 high
pinion Dana 44 front, C6 automatic, New Process 203 transfer case, and a
4.10 Dana 60 rear. This 4x4 runs and drives excellent, but does need
exhaust manifold gaskets. It has nice tires on the factory
wheels. The interior is clean, original, and uncut. This is a
nice example of a clean Highboy. It has a proud stance, and a good
look. Clean Highboys are
getting harder and harder to find, and very desirable. This one wont last.
