Ford F150 Short bed 4x4. This is a rare truck with the Top-of-the-Line
Ranger XLT trim. It is a clean, straight, totally original paint
survivor, and is 99% rustfree from the west coast. It has rust in
both very rear corners of the lower bed. I have seen that quite often
due to mud and debris getting kicked up from the rear tires. It also
has some under the auxiliary battery box on the drivers inner fender.
Other than that the floors, body mounts, bed floor are all rustfree. This shorty has
had two adult owners with the last owner having it since the early 80's. It has a
smooth running 360 engine, with a firm shifting automatic. Both the
engine and trans were rebuilt at some time prior to me getting the truck. It also has power
steering, and power disc brakes. It has A/C but it is missing the
compressor.
The interior is still in decent original
condition. The dash pad isn't cracked either. The Kenwood stereo
sounds nice, and all the gauges work. It has a mild lift with
33x12.5x15 tires. Three are nice, but one is getting a little thin on
tread. It drives nice and the suspension is tight. The bed floor
and bed rails are also straight. This is a neat rare 4x4 that has a
lot of potential, or leave it as is for a nice driver. The short wide
bed Fords are very popular, and hard for me to find anymore.
