1976 Ford F250 factory "Highboy"
4x4. This a nice 100% RUSTFREE Highboy, that still features most of it's
original paint. It has only had 2 adult owners. It features the
premium Ranger trim, with a nice two tone paint scheme. It has a
strong 460, and a rebuilt C6 automatic. It also has the big hub front
axle, the divorced NP 205 transfer case, power steering, power disc brakes,
etc. This truck is the nicest driving Highboy I have ever had.
It has excellent 35x12.5x16.5 BFG's on nice alloy wheels. The brakes,
exhaust and suspension are all sound. I pulled my 24 foot enclosed car
trailer with it the other day, and it pulled it better than my 01 Super Duty.
The body is very straight, but the paint is getting thin and old, with some
chips and scrapes. Any dork spots you see on the body in the pictures
are thin spot, or chips in the paint, but not rust. The bed and
tailgate show signs of use. It also has duel fuel tanks, a class III
hitch, and electronic trailer brake controller. I has a nice sounding
AM/FM radio also. Finally it has a period correct working electric
winch on the front.
The interior (seat and carpet) was just recently redone, and tastefully I
might add. Bottom line, I can't say much bad about this classics
Highboy. It runs, drives, excellent, and looks pretty good to.
Enjoy the pictures.
