1977 F250 4x4,
premium "Ranger" trim, and the heavy duty "Camper Special"
towing package. The Ranger trim got you the pretty stuff and the
Camper Special package got you the much higher 8100# GVW, big desert
cooler radiator, extra fluid coolers, bigger brakes, and heavier
springs. This is as nice an original survivor as you will find.
It has only been owned by one family, and only has 76,628 original miles
on it. It is 100% rustfree, and still features 100% of it's
original paint. Not so much as a fender bender. This clean
original western Survivor features a perfect collection of options:
strong smooth 351 engine, 4 speed manual transmission,
factory A/C, factory bed side tool box, factory tie down hooks, power steering, power disc brakes, dual tanks,
etc. It has the Bullet proof NP205 transfer case, high pinion Dana
44 front, and a limited slip Dana 60 rear. Everybody wants a 4
speed with Air. When it came in it had a miss in the engine,
it was diagnosed to be a burnt exhaust valve. We had a complete
valve job done with any needed guides, seats, and valves replaced.
She runs smooth and strong again.
As you can see from the pics this
is a gorgeous truck, with nice looking paint and a very straight body.
It does have a couple of dents, but not bad for being 38 years old.
The bed floor, upper bed rails, front bed rail, and tailgate are
all very straight.
The interior is unbelievable for
being original. The seat has a little wear on the drivers side,
but other than that the door panels, carpet, dash pad, and head liner or
next to perfect.
The truck drives excellent, and
has nice stock sized 235/85/16 tires. All the gauges, and
Speedo work. The suspension is tight, and the breaks stop nice.
These are the kind of trucks, that I dream of finding and sell
instantly. They honestly don't get much nicer than this in an
original, rustfree survivor. All I can say is enjoy the
pics, and don't wait if this is the one you have been looking for.
