Hard to find
and desirable 1978 Bronco 4x4, with Top-of-the-Line Ranger XLT trim.
This Bronco is 99.9% RUSTFREE from the west coast, and still has most of the original
"Free Wheelin" Paint and graphics. The "Free Wheelin"
package was an off road package offered by Ford on the 78 and 79 Broncos,
and pick ups.
The "Free Wheelin" package
consisted of a special graphics package, quad front shocks, skid plates,
front push bar, fog lamps, and blacked out trim accents. This Bronco is well optioned
including: XLT trim, bucket seats, 400, C6 automatic, tilt, cruise, power rear window, power steering, power disc brakes, etc.
This Bronco is truly a clean original
survivor. The paint and graphics are mostly original. The
interior is totally original still, as are the engine and transmission.
Black with the orange and yellow graphics is the most sought after of
the Free Wheelin colors. This Bronco has had just two adult
owners. The first owner had it till last year. The old
school Turbine alloy wheels where dealer installed when new. I had
the wheels professionally cleaned and glass bead blasted to look like
new. We installed nice set of Goodyear 31x11.5x15 tires
I call this Bronco 99.9%
rustfree because it has some rust in the drivers front floor pan.
There is also some surface rust on the bottom of the doors but not
rusted through. The rear lower part of the lift gate is perfect.
Most Bronco's do get rust in that area, but this on is perfect. Bottom line, I can't say much more about this Bronco.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
