Hard to find
and desirable 1978 Bronco 4x4, with Top-of-the-Line Ranger XLT trim.
This Bronco is 100% RUSTFREE from California. This Bronco
was a one woman owned rig. It only has 91k miles showing on the
odometer. It still has all its original
"Free Wheelin" Paint and graphics. The "Free Wheelin"
package was an off road package offered by Ford on the 78 and 79 Broncos,
and pick ups.
The "Free Wheelin" package
consisted of a special graphics package, quad front shocks, skid plates,
front push bar, fog lamps, and blacked out trim accents. However,
depending on the options ordered, they didn't always get all the Free
Wheelin options. This Bronco is well optioned
including: XLT trim, bucket seats, rebuilt 351, 4 speed, power rear window, power steering, power disc brakes, etc.
This Bronco is truly a clean original
survivor. The paint and graphics are 100% original. The
interior is very clean and original. We did install a complete new
carpet kit. It has never been used off-road. It
does have a nice sounding Kenwood stereo. It also has nice
sounding FlowMaster dual exhaust.
These Broncos got good strong
parts. High pinion Dana 44 front axle, 205 gear to gear transfer
case, and a limited slip 9" rear with 3.50 gears.
We did install a new set of
33x12.5x15 BFG AT's on new alloy wheels.
This is a very nice original
Bronco that runs, and drives excellent. Bottom line, I can't say much
more about this Bronco. I will let the pictures speak for
themselves.
