1978 Bronco 4x4,
with the top-of-the-line XLT trim. These Bronco's are getting very popular,
and consequently harder for me to track down. This Bronco is 100%
RUSTFREE from California.
This is a
well optioned Bronco. For
starters it has the Top-of-the-Line "Ranger XLT" trim package. It
also has a
400, C6 automatic, A/C (not working), power steering, power disc
brakes, power rear window, posi rear w/3.50 gears, skid plates, F & R
anti-sway bars, cruise control, Tilt wheel, and a role bar. It
also has nice 31x10.5x15 tires, and the factory quad front shock option.
The
interior is clean, but needs a carpet kit. As you
know, the driveline on these Broncos is the the toughest Ford ever built
for a Bronco, with a high pinion Dana 44 up front, and the bullet proof
205 transfer case.
This Bronco has a
California salvage title. I have had a number of California
vehicles with salvage titles. What people do is if the vehicle
wasn't driven for a while the vehicle gets back DMV fees. There is
a way to "Salvage" the vehicle and all the back fees drop off.
Needless to say that is probably what someone did with this Bronco.
Overall
this is a straight, solid, well optioned Bronco that is ready to hop in and drive, at a fare price.
